Gladys Nelly del Carmen Jiménez, known professionally as Gladys "La Bomba
Tucumana," was born on April 10, 1965, in San Miguel de Tucumán, Argentina. She
began her music career in 1984 as a backup singer for Tito Juárez and later
joined Juancito y su Conjunto, where she recorded duets that helped launch her
