Glad
Glad, a Christian pop-rock and a capella band, formed in 1972 at West Chester
State University of Pennsylvania. The group initially included Ed Nalle, Bob
Kauflin, T. Coble, Don Nalle, John Bolles, and Brad Currie. Glad released their
first two albums, GLAD (1978) and Beyond a Star (1980), on Myrrh Records. In
1981, they signed with Benson Records. Their breakthrough came with the release
of their first a cappella song, "The Reason," on Beyond a Star, which was
re-recorded for their 1988 album, The Acapella Project. This album sold over
