Girlfriend is an Australian girl group formed in 1991, consisting of Jacqueline
Cowell, Siobhánn Heidenreich, Melanie Alexander, Robyn Loau, and Lorinda Noble.
The members first met while taking dance lessons at age three and later decided
to form a pop group with the help of their dance teacher Janice Breen and
singer-songwriter Noel MacDonald. In 1992, Girlfriend released their debut
