GILLE

Gille, born on 4 January 1987 in Saito, Miyazaki, Japan, began her musical journey at six, learning English and winning speech contests, which led to a scholarship in Los Angeles. She debuted in 2011 as an indie artist under the name Tasha Gee, releasing two singles. In 2012, Universal Music Japan signed her, and she adopted the stage name Gille, later stylised with a J.
