Giblack (also styled G Black) is the stage name of Gustavo Álvarez Cerna, a
Colombian singer associated with the champeta scene whose recorded output in the
2020s mixed club-ready rhythms with the melodic hooks of Colombia’s Caribbean
coast. He appeared on tracks tied to the El Monigote project in 2021, then
continued releasing standalone songs such as “Vive la Vida” (2023) and “Batelo
(Aleteo)” (2024). In early 2026 he took a major step into heritage repertoire by
