Ghoul
Ghoul, an American thrash metal band from Oakland, California, was formed in
2001. The group's members have played in other bands such as Impaled and Morbid
Angel. Their music blended thrash metal, grindcore, and death metal vocals,
often featuring lyrics about a cast of characters from Creepsylvania. Ghoul
began their career by self-releasing a demo titled Ghoul's Night Out in 2001.
Their first studio album, We Came for the Dead!!!, was released in 2002 on
Razorback Records. In 2011, they released Transmission Zero and toured with
