Ghetts

British grime artist Ghetts was born on October 9, 1984, in the Plaistow district of East London. After serving a prison sentence at the age of 18, he began releasing mixtapes under the name Ghetto in 2005, kicking off his career as an MC with 2000 & Life. Following the release of 2007's Ghetto Gospel and 2008's Freedom of Speech, he changed his alias to Ghetts for 2010's Calm Before the Storm, which cemented his reputation as one of the UK's up-and-coming grime heavyweights.
