Gerardo Enciso, born on April 23, 1962, in Puebla de Zaragoza, Puebla, Mexico,
is a composer and musician. He grew up in Guadalajara and began his musical
journey focusing on folk and rock genres. His early breakthrough came with the
release of A contracorriente in 1988. His work often blended music with poetry
and theater, especially seen in Es la Calle. Honda... (1990) featuring Ricardo
Castillo. Subsequent albums include Cuentos del miedo (1993), Tarará (2000), and
Es por ti (2010). He has also collaborated with artists like Alejandro Marcovich
and Nina Galindo.
