Gerald Veasley
A jazz bassist with a rich history of collaboration, sideman work, and solo
material, Gerald Veasley was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on July 28,
1955. He performed with local R&B groups as a teenager before moving into jazz
music, eventually landing a string of high-profile sideman gigs during the early
