Geoffrey Richardson
Peter Geoffrey Richardson, born July 15, 1950, in Hinckley, Leicestershire,
England, is a British violist and multi-instrumentalist best known for his work
with Caravan, Murray Head, and the Penguin Cafe Orchestra. After playing with
the Attack and Spirogyra, he joined Caravan in 1972. His solo albums include
Viola Mon Amour (1993), Moving Up a Cloud (2011), and The Garden of Love (2016).
He also released collaborative albums with Jim Leverton and performed as a
session musician for numerous artists.
