Gen Neo
The K-pop composer Gen Neo Gen Rong — better known as Gen Neo — was born in
Singapore on June 18, 1989. Partially trained at Berklee College of Music in
Boston, Massachusetts, he moved to South Korea during his early twenties to find
work as a songwriter. There, he formed the production duo NoizeBank with his
former Berklee classmate, Henry Lau. Gen Neo contributed heavily to Henry Lau's
first two EPs, 2013's Trap and 2014's Fantastic, both of which peaked at Number
