Gasolin'
Gasolin' was a Danish rock band formed in Christianshavn, Copenhagen, in 1969.
The group consisted of Kim Larsen, Franz Beckerlee, Wili Jønsson, and initially
Bjørn Uglebjerg as drummer, later replaced by Søren Berlev in 1971. Their early
English-language singles did not achieve success, but their debut album Gasolin'
(1971) marked a shift to Danish lyrics and became a breakthrough. In the 1970s,
Gasolin' became Denmark’s most popular rock band, releasing notable albums such
