Gaitanes, a duo consisting of brothers Ricardo and Alberto Gaitán, originated
from Panama. They began their musical career in 1989 with their first group,
Impakto. The duo released their debut album Entrégate in 1997 and in 1999, they
moved to Miami, Florida, where they worked under producer Emilio Estefan. Their
second album, Alberto y Ricardo, featured the hit track "Taca Taca", which
became Song of the Year in Chile in 2003. The duo won two Latin Grammy Awards in
