In her rather reserved youth, Gabrielle Verleyen discovered at the age of 20 the
potential of her voice, and the messages it could convey as a Belgian musician.
After studying Romance languages and literature, she moved to Rotterdam, where
she entered the Conservatory of World Music. Far from her roots, Gabrielle
Verleyen developed her own sound universe through contact with a wide range of
musical aesthetics, mainly influenced by pop-folk, indie-rock and Indian music.
In 2018, the singer returned to Brussels, where her songwriting became more
