Froncysyllte Male Voice Choir, also known as the Fron Choir, is an amateur Welsh
ensemble founded in 1946 for the 1947 Llangollen International Musical
Eisteddfod. Under the direction of Lloyd Edwards until 1970, the choir won
various choral competitions. In 1955, the group hosted the Modena choir, which
included Luciano Pavarotti. John Daniel led the ensemble from 1970 to 1991,
followed by Val Jones. During the tenure of Ann Atkinson between 2002 and 2009,
