Fred Small is an American singer-songwriter born as Frederick Emerson Small on
November 6, 1952. Originally a lawyer and environmental policy specialist, he
transitioned to a musical career and released his debut studio album, Love's
Gonna Carry Us (1981). He achieved professional recognition for folk music
