Frederick G. Koller, known professionally as Fred Koller, was born on March 5,
1950, in Chicago and is an American singer-songwriter. He began his music career
in 1973 and has since written over 300 songs that have been recorded. Koller's
breakthrough came with collaborations, notably with Shel Silverstein, resulting
in hits like "Jennifer Johnson and Me" and "This Guitar Is for Sale". His
