Fraser MacPherson

John Fraser McPherson, known professionally as Fraser MacPherson, was a Canadian jazz musician born on April 10, 1928, in Saint Boniface, Manitoba. He learned to play piano, clarinet, and alto and tenor saxophones. After moving to Vancouver for his commerce degree, MacPherson played in various bands and eventually led the house band at the Cave supper club.
