Frankie Ford, born Vincent Francis Guzzo on August 4, 1939, in Gretna,
Louisiana, was an American musician known for his contributions to soul music.
He began performing at local events and winning talent contests from a young
age. His breakthrough came in 1959 with the release of "Sea Cruise" for Ace
Records, which reached number 14 on the Billboard Hot 100. This success led to
