Frànçois & the Atlas Mountains is the name of a musical project spearheaded by
François Marry, a French musician exiled in England and previously pursuing a
solo career under the name Frànçois. Formed in Bristol in 2005, the group's
debut album, The People to Forget, was released the following year. Their
exploration of dreamy, sensitive pop-folk continued in 2009 with the release of
Her River Raves Recollections, and above all their album Plaine Inondable,
