Frances Quinlan
Christine Frances Quinlan, known professionally as Frances Quinlan, was born on
May 7, 1986, in northern New Jersey. Raised by music-loving parents, Quinlan
began playing guitar at age 13 and later revisited the instrument inspired by
artists like Ani DiFranco. In college at Maryland Institute College of Art, they
started a solo acoustic project, releasing their debut EP Songs of the Sea and
the album Freshman Year. After graduation, Christine Frances Quinlan's brother
