France D’Amour is a singer-songwriter from Canada. She was born France Rochon on
March 30, 1966, in Mont-Rolland, Québec. France D'Amour started to explore her
interest in music after receiving a guitar as a gift from her father at the age
of 14, discovering the work of artists such as Rickie Lee Jones and Joni
Mitchell. This love for the instrument led her to pursue a specialization in
jazz guitar at Collège Lionel-Groulx. She played in several bands before she
