Flying Colors
Flying Colors is an American progressive rock band comprising members of several
other rock, prog and fusion bands. It was formed in 2008 based on a proposal
written by record company executive Bill Evans. Once the bulk of the band was
constructed with the talents of Neal and Steve Morse, Dave LaRue and Mike
Portnoy a search took place to find the charismatic singer and frontman required
in Evans' blueprint. It was decided that singer-songwriter and
multi-instrumentalist Casey McPherson fit the template and he joined the band
shortly before they chose a name and began recording. ...
