Floyd Robinson, born on 10 August 1932 in Nashville, Tennessee, was an American
singer known for his contributions to rock music. During his college years, he
gained local recognition by participating in radio shows on Nashville stations
WLAC and WSM. In the early 1950s, he formed The Eagle Rangers with Hank
Williams, Jerry Rivers, Bob Moore, and Little Johnny Dickens. Floyd Robinson's
first recordings were five singles released under the label Kong in 1954. That
