Florian Pittis

Florian Pittiș, born Florian-Titu Pittiș in Bucharest, Romania, on October 4, 1943, was a Romanian actor, theatre director, folk singer, and radio producer. Pittiș graduated from the I. L. Caragiale National University of Theatre and Film in 1966 and joined the Bulandra Theatre, performing under directors including Liviu Ciulei and Andrei Șerban. He achieved wide popularity as a folk musician performing in Cenaclul Flacăra and translating the songs of Bob Dylan into Romanian.
