Florian Boesch, born on May 17, 1971 in Saarbrücken, West Germany, is an
Austrian bass-baritone and opera singer. He began his musical journey with
singing lessons from his grandmother, Kammersängerin Ruthilde Boesch, and later
studied lied and oratorio at the Musikhochschule Wien under Robert Holl. Boesch
made his debut with a recital in Vienna's Musikverein and gained prominence
