Fighting Gravity
Fighting Gravity, an American band based out of Richmond, Virginia, was formed
while its members were attending Virginia Tech. Initially known as bOb (boy O
boy), the band started as a ska outfit but later incorporated reggae, rock, and
world beat elements into their sound. In August 1997, Fighting Gravity gained
significant attention with a seven-page feature in Rolling Stone magazine. The
group released several albums, including Shishkabob (1992), No Stopping, No
