Laura Bettinson is an English singer, songwriter, and producer who was born in
1987 in Rugby. She began performing at age 16 and later studied popular music at
Goldsmiths, University of London. Under the stage name Dimbleby & Capper, she
performed at the Glastonbury Festival in 2009. She achieved professional
prominence as the lead singer of the project Ultraísta, a collaboration with the
producer Nigel Godrich. In 2013, she launched a solo career under the pseudonym
