Fayo
Mario LeBlanc, better known as Fayo, and born on 18 October 1977 in Dieppe, New
Brunswick, Canada, was an Acadian musician. He began writing songs at 13 and
sang with the group Réveil until 1996, publishing the poetry collection Taches
de naissance in 1999. He received the 2000 Éloizes Discovery of the Year prize.
That same year, he won the Songwriter of the Year award at the Gala de la
chanson de Caraquet, raised his profile and led to a tour supporting his debut
album La Fièvre des fèves (2001) alongside Rémi Arsenault on double bass and
