Fat Papi
Auckland-based Kurdish-New Zealand rapper and singer Baban Hussain began
releasing music as Fat Papi with “Unrequired” in 2021. He returned with “One
More Night” in 2023 before expanding his catalog in 2024 through “WHAT IT IS”
with Loka, “LOUD AND PROUD,” the Spaceman collaboration “SKY IS FALLING,” and
“PERFECT LANDING.” His 2025 releases included “KEEP IT BLUNT,” “FAN OF ME,” and
the alternative hip-hop single “DIGITAL HUGS,” which reflected his increasingly
