Fanny Lucía Martínez Buenaventura (aka Fanny Lu, born on February 8, 1973) is a Colombian singer, actress, and model. Known in her home country as “The Queen of Tropipop,” she rose to fame in 1998 after starring in the soap opera Perro Amor. Lágrimas cálidas, her 2006 debut, featured the hit single “No te pido flores,” which reached Number 1 on Billboard’s Tropical chart and was nominated for a Latin Grammy.
