Fabio Bruno Ernani Piccaluga, known professionally as Fabio Concato, was born on
31 May 1953 in Milan, Italy, and emerged as a singer and songwriter rooted in a
musical family. After forming a rock band with his brother in 1965 and
performing with the cabaret group Mormoranti from 1974, he launched his solo
career in 1977 with the Harmony label release Storie di sempre, featuring the
ironic tribute "A Dean Martin", which marked his breakthrough. He continued with
