Fabiana Cantilo
One of the most popular female artists in Argentina's Rock Nacional movement,
singer-songwriter Fabiana Cantilo was born in Buenos Aires on March 3, 1959. She
began playing guitar at the age of 8 and was a member of the short-lived
theatrical rock outfit Las Bay Biscuits before joining rockabilly group Los
Twist in 1982. During that time, she met future romantic and creative partner
Fito Páez while singing backing vocals on Charly García's band. In fact, it was
