EZÉ Wendtoin
Ezé Wendtoin, born Ezékiel Wendtoin Nikiema in 1991 in Ouagadougou, Burkina
Faso, is a Burkinabè-German musician, singer, and guitarist. After learning
German at school and earning a bachelor’s degree in German studies from the
University of Ouagadougou, he moved to Dresden in 2015 to pursue a master’s
degree at TU Dresden, where he joined the collective Banda Internationale. His
breakthrough came in 2019 with a cover of Konstantin Wecker's song "Sage Nein!",
whose video featured Franziska Weisz, Kida Khodr Ramadan, and Frederick Lau. He
