Eugen Cicero

Eugen Cicero, born Eugen Ciceu on June 27, 1940, in Klausenburg, Romania, was a Romanian-German jazz pianist. He began playing piano at age four and gave his first concert at six. After studying at the Bucharest Conservatory of Music, he defected to West Berlin in 1962 and settled in Switzerland. Cicero signed with SABA/MPS Records and released Rokoko-Jazz in 1965, which sold over one million copies worldwide.
