Esoteric
Esoteric is an English funeral doom metal band formed in Birmingham in 1992, and
is one of the early groups to develop the style. The group released their debut
demo, Esoteric Emotions – The Death of Ignorance, in 1993, followed by their
first full-length album, Epistemological Despondency, in 1994 under Aesthetic
Death Records. The lineup underwent several early changes, with guitarist Stuart
Blenkinsop and drummer Darren Earl departing shortly after the debut. The band
