Mthembeni Ndevu, known as Emtee, was born on September 17, 1992, in Matatiele, South Africa, and is a South African rapper who grew up in Rockville, Soweto. He entered the music scene at 16, releasing the breakthrough single "Roll Up" in 2015, which topped YFM’s hip‑hop chart. In December 2015, his debut album Avery was released under Ambitiouz Entertainment and certified platinum by RiSA.
