Empirion
Empirion, a British industrial dance group formed in 1993 in Essex, England,
consisted of Austin Morsely, Bob Glennie, and Jamie Smart; Morsely and Glennie
met on the local rave scene and began experimenting with basic equipment, while
Smart, a resident DJ at local clubs, later provided the vehicle for the band’s
early releases. The group’s breakthrough came with the 1993 single "Narcotic
Influence", pressed in 500 vinyl copies and subsequently selling nearly 5,000;
