Emmanuel del Real
Emmanuel “Meme” del Real Díaz (born March 22, 1969 in Naucalpan, State of
Mexico) rose to prominence as the keyboardist, guitarist, vocalist, and producer
of the legendary alternative rock band Café Tacvba, which he joined in 1989. He
contributed key songwriting and instrumentation to classics like “Eres,” “La
Ingrata,” “Pez,” and “Aviéntame,” while also managing sampling and rhythmic
elements. Alongside his band duties, Meme co-founded electronic collective
Noiselab as “DJ Angustias” and produced for notable acts including Julieta
Venegas, Natalia Lafourcade, Ely Guerra, Los Bun...
