Emma & Matilda
Emma & Matilda is a folk duo that formed in 2020 when both were attending
Tampere School for the Performing Arts. Founded by Emma Johansson and Matilda
Malkarmäki, the duo came to prominence releasing videos on social media. Their
sensitive folk approach attracted a large audience, who embraced their singles
"Joku jonka sä haluut" (2022) and "Sä saat mut" (2023). Emma & Matilda reached
the Top 40 with “Veronica” (number 31) and “Joku Muu” (number 13) in 2023. That
