Emanuel
Emanuel, an American post-hardcore band from Louisville, Kentucky, was formed in
1998 under the name Emanuel Nice by high school students Matt Breen, Bryan
Whiteman, Anthony Brock, and Mat Barber. The group initially released four
self-produced records before signing with Vagrant Records in 2004 and changing
their name to Emanuel. Their debut album, Soundtrack to a Headrush, was released
in 2005, followed by Black Earth Tiger in 2007. The band's sound evolved from
