El Comunero
El Comunero, a French alternative rock band formed in 2008 by Tomas Jimenez. The
group's name pays homage to Jimenez's grandfather, Manuel Jimenez, who was known
as "El Comunero" during the Spanish Civil War. El Comunero released their album
Sigue Luchando in 2012, featuring a mix of traditional chants from the Spanish
Revolution and original tracks. Their subsequent albums include Son De La
Barricada (2017) and Raíces Y Semillas (2022).
