Einar Wilhelm Böckmann Rose, born 27 January 1898 in Oslo, was a Norwegian
singer, actor, and director. Rose debuted in the revue Regnbuen på Mayol in
1925, and began performing at the revue theatre Chat Noir the following year. He
recorded more than 300 songs, including "Svigermor og Evensen og kjerringa og
jeg", "Sol ute, sol inne", "Ola var fra Sandefjord", and "Nå går'n på
gummisåler". He also appeared in the 1933 movie I kongens klær. He passed away
on February 3, 1979.
