Eimear Mary Rose Quinn was born on 18 December 1972 in Dublin, Ireland, and
began singing in a choir at age four before receiving formal vocal training with
Jody Beggan at fifteen. She entered the Irish Eurovision selection in 1995,
winning with "The Voice" and subsequently claimed victory at the 1996 Eurovision
