Efya
Jane Fara Fauzzier Afia Boafowaa Yahaya Awindor, known professionally as Efya,
is a Ghanaian singer, songwriter, and actress born in Kumasi, Ghana, on April
10, 1987. The daughter of filmmaker Nana Adwoa Awindor, she first rose to
prominence in 2008 as the runner-up on the television show Stars of the Future.
Under her initial stage name Miss Jane, she recorded the collaborative album
Unveiled (2009) with Irene Logan. Prior to launching her solo career, she
