Born in Newham, East London, Edweezy began composing around the age of 11, posting his tracks on his social networks. Immersed in grime, hip-hop and Afrobeat from an early age, he learned to produce his own rhythms and developed a unique style that fuses British urban sounds with his Ghanaian roots. He also plays drums, a talent acquired in his church, which influences his approach to rhythm and production.
