Edward Higginbottom

Edward Higginbottom, born on November 16, 1946 in Kendal, England, is a music scholar, organist, choirmaster and conductor. He began his musical journey as a chorister at his local parish church, where he also started playing the organ. Higginbottom completed his undergraduate and graduate training as an organ scholar of Corpus Christi College, Cambridge. In 1976, he was appointed Organist and Director of Music at New College, Oxford, leading their choir for over 35 years.
