Eduardo "Edu" Ardanuy (born June 20, 1967, in São Paulo, Brazil) was a Brazilian
hard rock, heavy metal, and progressive rock guitarist. Ardanuy initiated
musical training on the acoustic guitar at age 13 before transitioning to the
electric guitar at age 16. In 1989, Ardanuy joined the ensemble The Key
(formerly A Chave Do Sol) and released the album A New Revolution. Ardanuy
subsequently performed with Anjos da Noite, recording a self-titled album for
