Edsilia Rombley
Edsilia Francisca Rombley, born February 13, 1978, in Amsterdam, Netherlands, is
a singer. She started her career with the Dutch girl group Dignity in 1995 and
won the Soundmixshow talent show in 1996. Rombley released her debut solo single
"Baby It's You" in 1997, followed by her first album Thuis. In 1998, she
represented the Netherlands at the Eurovision Song Contest with "Hemel en
aarde", placing fourth. Subsequent albums include Face to Face (2002) and Meer
Dan Ooit (2007).
