Edi Rock, born Edivaldo Pereira Alves in São Paulo, is a founding member of
Racionais MC’s, one of the most influential rap groups in Brazil. He began his
career in 1984 alongside KL Jay, and in 1988, they joined forces with Mano Brown
and Ice Blue to form the legendary group. As a songwriter, he contributed to
iconic tracks like "Mágico de Oz," "Tempos Difíceis," "Negro Drama," and "A Vida
é Desafio," shaping the voice of Brazilian hip-hop. His collaboration with the
